If you need to get somewhere beyond downtown, GoComo is Columbia’s public transit and offers multiple bus routes all over town. There are also multiple taxi services and ride-shares like Uber and Lyft. Our student renters love the convenience of being steps from campus, especially during busy days. In fact, our 308 Ninth Street location is directly across from the Missouri School of Journalism, a short walk to the iconic Columns, and the rest of Mizzou’s campus. Security is also top notch at The Lofts. Other, less secure off-campus housing options can make you more susceptible to a break-in if all it’s relying on is locks. At the Lofts, we have several layers of security to give you peace of mind. The Lofts downtown apartments have technology in place in order to keep you and your space as safe as possible. Fob systems allowing only residents to enter the building starting 5 p.m. and ending at 8 a.m. Due to the bustling nature of downtown Columbia, The Lofts location on Broadway has restricted access to the building 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Additionally, security cameras are positioned around the entrances for extra security. The Lofts at 308 Ninth have an on-site security guard between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. to keep residents and their belongings safe.
